Born and raised in a small town in Rust Belt West Pennsylvania, I currently live in a quiet apartment, with a not so quiet cat, in that same rural land I love to call home. Art has always been an integral part of who I am and I as grew older learning design provided a prefect way for me to apply my creativity to a career. During high school I also attended a vocational technical school where I learned all the elements of graphic design and how they can apply in our daily lives. Right after I went to a fast-track college where I cut my teeth on 3D art and design, taking on an entirely new beast. My time during those 4 years, while short, gave me the confidence that I can absorb new skills and grow them at a fast pace. In the years since then I’ve continued to do local freelance work and learn new design skills and programs, all the while daylighting as a clerk at my local federal office job. (Sort of like a far more boring superhero.) It is my goal to continue my design work, continue to learn and try new projects, and with any luck make my designing job my only job. I’m thrilled to start out on this next leg of the journey, and I hope you will walk some of that path with me!
